McCoy Construction & Forestry adds to dealership focus in the Midwest



DUBUQUE, Iowa — McCoy Group, Inc., a family-owned company based in Dubuque, IA, is expanding its business base into Illinois with the purchase of another John Deere Construction and Forestry store located in Mitchell, Ill. from Erb Equipment Company of Illinois (“Erb”). The acquisition is expected to be finalized in mid-March 2024. This expansion will bring the number of McCoy Construction & Forestry John Deere stores located throughout the Midwest to 25.

The new McCoy Construction & Forestry location will join a growing organization that is already home to six subsidiaries including Truck Country and Stoops, which operate 26 Freightliner heavy/medium duty semi-truck dealerships across the midwest, and bulk transportation companies Foodliner and Quest Liner, which operate over 51 locations across the United States and Mexico.
